      Wüsthof at Tarzian West

Wüsthof has been making knives in Solingen, Germany since 1814—the same city, the same craft, for over two hundred years. At Tarzian West, we carry their most trusted lines: the Classic and the Classic Ikon.

Classic is the benchmark: a full bolster, triple-riveted handle, and blades forged from a single piece of high-carbon stainless steel. The Cook's Knife 8" handles the bulk of everyday kitchen work—mincing, slicing, dicing. The Paring Knife covers smaller tasks. The Santoku 7" and Nakiri 7" bring Japanese-inspired profiles to the German forged tradition—lighter, flatter, built for push-cutting and precision vegetable work. The Tomato Knife's serrated edge glides through thin skins without tearing, and the Salmon Slicer 12" is the right tool for breaking down large fish or carving a roast.

Classic Ikon refines the formula with an ergonomic handle designed to reduce hand fatigue on longer prep sessions. Available in the Cook's Knife 6" and 8" and the Santoku 7"—the same forged blade quality in a more contoured grip.

All Wüsthof knives at Tarzian West are in stock and ready to pick up at our Brooklyn store, or available to ship.
