Legnoart's "Gratta" is a one-handle, three-blade grater handcrafted in Italy from solid European Ashwood and stainless steel. The wood body fits the hand like a chef's knife and stays warm under the palm; the etched-stainless blades snap on and off cleanly so you can move from a fine zest of lemon to a ribbon of Parmigiano to a feather-thin shaver of dark chocolate without changing tools.
Compact at 9.5″ × 2.5″ × 1.25″, the Gratta lives in a drawer or hangs on a hook between uses. The three included blades are designed to cover most everyday grating: the Fine Zester for citrus and hard cheese, the Ribbon blade for soft chocolate and aged cheese, and the Shaver for chocolate curls, truffle, or hard fruit. Designed by Enrico Albertini for Legnoart's "for cooking" line.
9.5″ Long × 2.5″ Wide × 1.25″ Thick (240 × 65 × 30 mm)
Body: solid European Ashwood. Blades: etched stainless steel.
Hand wash the wood body with mild soap and water; dry immediately. Blades are dishwasher safe (top rack); detach from the body for thorough cleaning. Periodically condition the wood with a food-safe oil to maintain finish.
