The traditional French press gets a Le Creuset makeover, made of dense stoneware and glazed classic white. The glossy enamel finish is stain- and scratch-resistant and nearly nonstick on the interior. For a freshly prepared cup of aromatic coffee, simply add coarsely ground coffee beans to the carafe, then steep in boiling water. The plunger action pushes the mesh sieve through the grounds, filtering it while retaining maximum depth of coffee flavor (direct contact between the beans and the water means stronger flavor).
